The God Known as Democracy | @ironmars

Democracy is like a large intimidating idol; a low 'g' god that doesn't stand upon a solid foundation. It looks strong, but it has so many loophole that it's actually weak structually.

Because of its enormous size people from afar off can see it and the loophole. It won't be long before many will attempt to use strong rope to put through the loopholes and take down the giant.

Western governments that regard themselves as 'Christian nations' always tend to do things in the name of 'democracy'.

In the bible, the book of Colossians 3:17 says, "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

Notice that.  "All in the name of the Lord Jesus." Not in the name of 'Democracy'. The western world literally bows before the god of democracy. This god silences the truth from anyone that speaks it or attempts to. It seeks to persecute and imprison Christians for praying in their minds, it does not desire for people to retire early with their well deserved pension, but desires for them to work tell they die.

So the question now is, who will you serve today. Even in the time of Joshua in the Old Testament, he asked a very important question to the children of Israel, "But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!” (Joshua 24:15).
